RAM® SPC: Stabilisation and protection of tracks and storage heaps by RAM-SPC

On open-air sites such as quarries, the action of wind has a very negative effect. It is wind which causes most of the migration of particles away from the site to the area surrounding the installations. To eleminate this phenomenon RAM® has designed the system RAM®-SPC ( controlled rainfall stabilization ) to stabilize dust on tracks and storage heaps in quarries, in order to stop migration of particles trough wind erosion. The principle of RAM®-SPC consists creating artificial rainfall in the areas to be treated.The purpose is to maintain a surface humidity at least equal to the surface evaporation at the time.
